#1 Orthodontic Treatments
If you have always desired straight teeth and a beautiful smile, you do not have to endure a mouth full of wire and bracket braces. The clear braces offer a perfect alternative to the conventional wire braces.
The clear braces are ideal for adults and older teenagers. Clear braces allow adults to improve their smile’s function and appearance without the stigma of wire braces. You can remove the braces while eating or brushing your teeth and later place them back in your mouth. When your teeth are in alignment, they will gather less plaque because you can easily clean them, which will boost your overall oral health.
Invisalign is a system that uses clear and removable aligners to straighten the teeth and adjust them to the right position. It is more of an invisible way of straightening your teeth without braces. We use a series of clear aligners to gradually move your teeth and help you get the smile you deserve. Every aligner is manufactured individually to ensure a perfect fit for the best results.
Our dentist will devise a plan to create custom aligners to transform your smile. Even if there are several ways of aligning your teeth, none other is more convenient than the Invisalign system.
The process begins with a consultation with an orthodontic professional or dentist experienced in Invisalign. During this appointment, the dentist will assess your teeth, discuss your goals, and determine if Invisalign is a suitable treatment for your specific needs.
If Invisalign is deemed appropriate, the dentist will take impressions, photos, and X-rays of your teeth. These images are used to create a 3D digital model of your teeth, allowing the dentist to plan the precise movements required to achieve the desired.
Based on the treatment plan, a series of custom-made, clear plastic aligners are created. Each set of aligners is worn for about two weeks before moving on to the next set. The aligners are designed to gradually shift your teeth into the desired positions.
You'll be required to wear the Invisalign aligners for at least 20-22 hours a day. They are removable, allowing you to take them out for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. However, it's crucial to wear them consistently to achieve optimal results.
The total duration of Invisalign treatment varies depending on the complexity of the orthodontic issues being addressed. On average, treatment can take about 12 to 18 months.
Once the active treatment is complete and your teeth have reached the desired alignment, your dentist may recommend wearing retainers to help maintain the results. Retainers are typically worn at night.
